WTSDIST

Two Wong Tai Sin District Councillors, Mr Ho Yin-fai and Mr Mok Kin-wing, as a token of appreciation, presented banners to Wong Tai Sin District (WTSDIST) management, Task Force Sub-unit, Patrol Sub-unit 2, District Crime Squad 1 and 2 and District Intelligence Section for their professionalism and contributions to maintenance of law and order on September 30.

Between July and September, a series of indecent exposure cases were reported at Choi Hung Estate. Following a detailed investigation and operations, officers arrested a suspect on September 17, earning residents' praise for their speedy detection.

EDIST

The Hong Kong and Kowloon Pawnbrokers' Association called at North Point Police Station on September 10 and presented pennants to Eastern District (EDIST) for busting a series of deception cases and arresting a suspect who had pawned non-pure gold ornaments worth $30,000 in the pawnshops in North Point and Mong Kok in March this year.

Mr Lo Kwok-hung, Chairman of the association, and his members praised the investigating officers for their professionalism, efficiency and devotion to duty. Receiving the pennants were EDIST Commander Graham Mitchelmore, Chief Inspector (Crime) Chan Shuk-fun and Senior Inspector Aileen Wong of District Intelligence Section.
