The family of Sergeant (SGT) Tam Kwok-lun of Tier 3 Platoon 1 of Central District (CDIST), who collapsed during last year's large-scale public event and was later admitted to an Intensive Care Unit, has thanked the Force, especially the Personnel Services and Staff Relations Branch, for helping them tide over the difficult time arising from the incident.

The family is also grateful to Police Constable Chan Hok-kwan for offering SGT Tam massage regularly. With a good knowledge of massage, she believed massage would relieve pain and keep muscle in a good condition.

Shortly before the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, SGT Tam's family called on officers in CDIST in appreciation of their care and support for SGT Tam.

SGT Tam is still in coma in a medical term, but his health remains stable. He has been transferred to an infirmity bed for recuperation.
