To support the Charity MTR Race Walking held on September 13, Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chau Kwok-leung and Railway District Commander Mak Chin-ho joined the "1-km Chairman's invitational". A five-member team from Kowloon East Region, comprising Senior Inspector Lau Ngo-chung and Police Constables Leung Kei-fung, Wan Chi-yin, Wong Wan-chun and Lam Lai-kuen, also took part in the "Corporate Team Challenge" and won a bronze medal.

In the race, which was organised by MTR Corporation and the Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association, the Force raised over $24,000 for the Hospital Authority's Health InfoWorld.
