Lantau District (LTDIST) has held a "Project One World" Cricket Competition in Tung Chung, not only offering youngsters from different ethnic groups an opportunity to mix with one another, but also encouraging them to live a healthy and fruitful life.

In addition to cricket players, the competition also attracted their families and Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community leaders. Donnix, a university student who had taken part in the Police Mentorship Program, and Guruinder Singh, a NEC youngster, acted as MCs and introduced cricket game, enabling the participants to know more about the sport.

Launched by LTDIST early this year, the "Project One World" helps youngsters familiarise themselves with the cultures of different ethnic groups by offering various activities. The Project consists of three programmes on football training, cricket training and youth career development.
