Central District (CDIST) held a seminar on September 16 for licensed premises operators in the district, attracting over 60 participants. CDIST Deputy District Commander Chan Yee-lai opened the seminar with a warm welcome to the participants and pointed out that it was a good opportunity to enhance communication and partnership between the police and licensed premises.

In the first part of the seminar, CDIST Chief Inspector (Administration) Soo Wan-lok gave a brief overview of the general situation of licensed premises in Central. The second part saw Detective Inspector Lau Yuk-wa from the District Anti-Triad Squad explaining the relevant legislation concerning licensed premises, presenting the trend of late-night lawlessness arising from drunkenness and offering crime prevention advice. The seminar drew positive feedback from the audience.
