Yuen Long District (YLDIST) Commander Fok Lok-sang led a party of Junior Police Call and Senior Police Call members as well as frontline officers to call at Madrassa Noor-ul Quran, a mosque at Lo Uk Tsuen, Pat Heung, on October 8 in a bid to understand better the lifestyles, cultures and religions of the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC).

Mr Fok also hoped that officers would, through the visit, become more capable of serving the NEC.

Extending a warm welcome to the party, NEC leaders exchanged views with Mr Fok and introduced the Muslim and related culture and etiquette. The Chairman of Madrassa Noor-ul Quran, Mr Jameel Hussain, once again took the opportunity to thank Mr Fok and the other guests for enhancing the communication between the police and the NEC.
