Tin Sum Division (TSDIV) and the Hospital Authority (HA) jointly conducted an anti-phone deception publicity campaign in August and September.

On August 7, Tin Sum Divisional Commander Chan Chun-fai, together with the Chief Executive of the New Territories East Cluster of HA, Dr Hung Chi-tim, and staff of the New Territories South Regional Crime Prevention Office, handed out anti-phone deception leaflets to members of the public in Prince of Wales Hospital (PWH), in particular elders seeking medical treatments.

On September 23, Mr Chan and his Assistant Divisional Commander (Operation) Chow Kwok-kee also conducted a seminar in PWH, disseminating crime prevention messages and advice through a live-broadcasting system to staff members, including doctors and nurses of Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital, Tai Po Hospital and Shatin Cheshire Home.
