Officers of the Airport Authority Integrated Airport Centre (IAC) visited Airport Police Control Room (APCR) and Regional Command and Control Centre New Territories (RCCC NT) on October 6.

Introducing operations of the APCR, Senior Police Communications Officer Li Chi-kin explained how the APCR would be upgraded as an "Air Crash Incident Command Centre" in the event of a major air crash.  After the introduction, the party visited the RCCC NT, where Chief Police Communications Officer Wan Ka-fung explained how the APCR and RCCC NT would co-operate and liaise with IAC officers to work out contingency plans in case of an aircraft emergency.
