Chief Inspector (CIP) Ng Hoi-wai from Management Learning Division, Police College, participated in the Global Institute for Leadership Development programme in Palm Springs, California, the U.S. between October 4 and 9.

The conference focused on keynote speeches delivered by 19 entrepreneurs, best-selling writers and successful people. There were also learning teams assisted by professional consultants or executives and one-on-one executive coaching to provide participants with an all-round leadership assessment and inspiration.

It is the first time the Force has sent an officer to participate in the conference, allowing CIP Ng to broaden his international perspective and giving him leadership inspiration. The participation will also help the Management Learning Division introduce contemporary management and leadership development methodologies to command courses of different levels.

Regarded as the best leadership development programme in the world, the conference attracts hundreds of business managers and executives each year. This year's conference has drawn over 500 participants, mainly executives from the U.S. local corporations or those who have been dispatched to other countries.
