In a bid to boost ability to tackle pickpocketing, Railway District (RAILDIST) invited Station Sergeant Man Tat-fai and Police Constable Yu Chung-mo, both being anti-pickpocketing experts for the Police Peer Adviser Scheme, to conduct three experience-sharing sessions in the past two months.
At the sharing sessions, the two experts briefed officers on how to identify pickpockets in a crowd and adopt tactics in carrying out surveillance and arresting pickpockets. They also demonstrated some of the surveillance techniques.
Besides RAILDIST, officers from other formations also attended the sharing sessions.
