Police College and Family Conflict and Sexual Violence Policy Unit (FCSV) have jointly produced a training day package on the procedures of handling sexual violence victims, emphasising the importance of professional sensitivity.

The package contains a drama, topics for group discussion, power-point presentations and expert opinions to introduce the best ways to enhance procedures when handling victims of sexual violence and apply the "one-stop service" model.

Through the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals CEASE Crisis Centre, FCSV also invited two victims of sexual violence to appear in the training video and share their views and feelings of police investigation of their cases and their expectations of the police during such investigation.

Furthermore, a Police Clinical Psychologist discusses in the training package the emotional and behaviour changes and anxiety a sexual violence victim might experience. The training package also offers tips on communication with sexual violence victims.

Police College rolled out a seven-day Force Training Day Train-the-Trainer Workshop on October 20 and the training package has been uploaded onto Police College's Website.
