To enhance the professional development of Special Duties Squad (SDS) officers, Mong Kok District (MKDIST) held a Prosecution Seminar on October 20. At the seminar, Senior Public Prosecutor from Department of Justice (DoJ), Ms Teresa Kam, gave a wide-ranging presentation to 70 officers from the SDS teams in Kowloon West Region on case preparation and legal matters, with focus on SDS investigations.

On conclusion of the seminar, MKDIST Commander Mark Foster thanked Ms Kam for her valuable presentation and highlighted the excellent co-operation and assistance rendered by the DoJ.

District Operation Officer Nigel Williams emphasised that supporting frontline units, especially improving the professional skills and knowledge of SDS officers, is a priority for MKDIST.
