On October 24, officers from Sai Kung Division and Kowloon East Regional Crime Prevention Office and 15 mentees of the Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) staged a road show in Sha Kok Mei Village to promote the Sai Kung Neighbourhood Watch Scheme, which aims at fighting burglaries in the rural areas. Crime prevention leaflets were also distributed to residents for enhancing partnership in fighting crime.

The PMP mentees were also arranged to visit Sai Kung Police Station and meet officers so that they would get better prepared for pursuing a career in the Force.
