Fung Tung-yee, daughter of Senior Inspector Fung Hing-nam, was presented with the "Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Scholarship for Children of the Disciplined Services" at a ceremony on November 30 for outstanding academic attainment. Tung-yee is a year-three medical student of the CUHK.

Officiating at the ceremony was the Secretary for Security, Mr Lai Tung-kwok. On hand to share Tung-yee's honour were her family, Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Lau Chi-wai and a representative of the Hong Kong Police Inspectors' Association. The "CUHK Scholarship for Children of the Disciplined Services" is introduced this year and a total of four other students from families of Fire Services Department, Customs and Excise Department and Immigration Department have been presented with the scholarship.
