Recruitment Division (REC DIV) arranged a visit to Airport Security Unit (ASU) for 70 mentees and mentors of Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) 2015-16 on November 28.


ASU Inspector Poon Chi-ming introduced the history, operational priorities, training, daily duties and equipment of the ASU. The mentees also had a taste of the physical training of ASU officers.


During the visit, REC DIV officers introduced the selection process of Probationary Inspector, while the mentors shared their work experience. At the same time, Airport District Police Community Relations Office gave an update on the trend of deception cases and disseminated fight crime message to the mentees.


At the conclusion of the visit, the mentees thanked the ASU, REC DIV and the mentors for laying on a programme for them to get a better idea of police frontline duties.
