The Road Safety Team of Traffic Kowloon West (T KW) and the Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol (HKRSP) (KW Region) staged a "Road Safety Starts From Me Carnival cum Road Safety Artistic Competitions 2015 Award Presentation Ceremony" on November 28.

Officiating at the event were Acting T KW Senior Superintendent (SSP) Cheung Hon-kwong, Chairman of Sham Shui Po Road Safety Campaign Committee, Mr Cheng Muk-lam, Chairman of Kowloon City Road Safety Campaign Committee, Mr Ho Chi-kai, Chairlady of Yau Tsim Mong District Road Safety Campaign Organising Committee, Ms Kwan Sau-ling, and Chief Supervisor of HKRSP, Ms Rowena Wan.

Speaking at the event, Acting SSP Cheung thanked various organisations, institutions and schools for supporting road safety promotion over the years, and encouraged all sectors to continue to adopt a multi-agency approach to achieve the vision: "Zero Accidents on the Road, Hong Kong's Goal".

The event, through painting and colouring competitions and a carnival, drove road safety messages home to students, Non-ethnic Chinese and the disabled. At the same time, awards were presented to the winners of the painting and colouring competitions.
