Kowloon East (KE) Region hosted an information-sharing reception for over 100 secondary school principals and Junior Police Call (JPC) honorary presidents on November 3.
Speaking at the session, KE Regional Commander Duncan McCosh emphasised that the police had all along maintained close liaison with the guests for steering young people clear of crimes and drugs, and hoped the session would strengthen communication and co-operation with them.
Following Mr McCosh's speech, officers from Crime KE, Operations KE and Traffic KE gave briefings on the trend of juvenile delinquency in KE. Police Public Relations Branch Superintendent Yau Sin-man briefed the JPC honorary presidents on the developments of police projects for the youth. The guests and hosts also discussed matters concerning the youth for enhancing community policing and co-operations.
