A party of 14 undergraduates from the University of Hong Kong, who have joined the Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) as mentees, visited Wanchai District (WCHDIST) on January 6. They met and talked to uniform branch and crime stream inspectors, getting a better idea of the work and challenges of a junior inspector. They also observed an on-shift briefing for patrol sub-unit officers.

District Commander Cheng Yiu-mo also met the mentees to introduce the Force management structure and discuss some of the challenges facing the Force. In response, the mentees commented that the visit was very useful for their plan to join the Force after graduation.
