The Force participated in the Education and Careers Expo from January 28 to 31 to introduce its multi-faceted and professional work with the theme of "Serve and Protect Our Hong Kong, Join Us".
Officers from specialist units and secondary duty cadres manned the Force booth at different sessions to introduce their work and display their equipment, attracting many visitors. The units and cadres included Police Dog Unit, Identification Bureau, Narcotics Bureau, Police Negotiation Cadre, Police College, Force Abseiling Cadre, Traffic Branch, Marine Police, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau, Emergency Unit, Force Search Unit, Airport Security Unit, Crime Prevention Bureau and Counter Terrorism Response Unit. The booth also provided the latest police recruitment information.
During the four-day Expo, Recruitment Division officers also manned the booth to process applications and answered enquiries. Director of Personnel and Training Au Chi-kwong, Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Tang Ping-keung and other senior officers from various police units visited the booth and showed their support for the Force's participation in the Expo. Many Force members also brought their families to visit the booth.
