Police Constable (PC) Chan Kai-on from Emergency Unit Hong Kong Island and his wife were injured in a traffic accident when they were visiting Seoul on February 18. PC Chan sustained fractures on his right arm, clavicle and back, while his wife had lower limb fracture. Both were admitted to Wonju Severance Christian Hospital.

Welfare Officer (Hong Kong Island & Marine) Hedy Ho visited the couple in hospital from February 24 to 26. Fortunately, the conditions of the couple became stable after operations. Their family and friends were also with them.

Their recovery has made good progress and the couple is grateful for the care and support of the Force and officers.
