For enhancing communication with stakeholders in the community, Yuen Long District (YLDIST) hosted a "Yuen Long District 2015 Year-end Briefing" on February 26.

YLDIST presented crime trend, crime statistics, Operational Priorities for 2016 and the policy of each of its divisions to chairmen and members of Yuen Long District Council, Yuen Long District Fight Crime Committee, Yuen Long Junior Police Call Honorary President Council, Yuen Long District Secondary School Heads Association and Yuen Long District Primary School Heads Association as well as representatives of Home Affairs Department in a bid to strengthen liaison.

YLDIST's management team also encouraged the guests to make good use of the Force's social media, like mobile application, Police YouTube Channel and Police Facebook page. A question-and-answer session was arranged to handle questions and concerns raised by the guests for enhancing the understanding between the community and the police.
