With the aim of helping the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community understand better the legislation of sales of liquor, Yau Ma Tei Division (YMTDIV) has produced a promotional leaflet and poster in Nepalese language. The leaflet has been published in a local Nepalese newspaper and uploaded onto the Nepalese community's Facebook. In the evening of February 4, YMTDIV officers, together with Mr Binay Shah, a Nepalese leader, called at Nepalese shops to distribute the leaflet, meeting with a big support of the shopkeepers.

YMTDIV has held a seminar for the Nepalese earlier in a bid to raise their awareness of the subject and disseminate messages of proactive law enforcement measures against unlawful selling of liquor. The seminar drew a favourable response from the participants.
