The Kowloon City District (KCDIST) Road Safety Campaign Carnival cum Award Presentation Ceremony 2015/16 came to a successful conclusion on January 23, attracting large crowds. Officiating at the event were KCDIST Commander Cheung Ching, Traffic Kowloon West Superintendent (Investigation & Support) Cheung Hon-kwong, District Officer, Mr William Tsui, and Chairman of Kowloon City District Road Safety Campaign Committee, Mr Ho Chi-kai.

Drawing about 3 000 residents and students, the event promoted road safety with game booths and a variety show featuring performances by the Police Pipe Band, kindergarten students, international school students, Senior Police Call members and the Kowloon City Junior Police Call Music Live Band.

At the same time, a total of 39 students from the kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools in KCDIST were presented with prizes for the KCDIST Road Safety Campaign Slogan and Painting Competition held earlier. The winning entries are on display on the green public light buses traveling in Kowloon West for driving road safety messages home to the public.
