In a bid to protect Mainland students studying in local universities from telephone and email scams, the Regional Crime Prevention Office of Kowloon West (RCPO KW) held three security seminars in Putonghua with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University and City University of Hong Kong for a total of over 300 students in January. The seminars covered the modus operandi of telephone and email scams and measures to prevent crime and safeguard personal property.
