With a view to raising officers' awareness of complaints prevention, the Regional Committee on Complaints Prevention of New Territories South (RCCP NTS) has held a "Four-Frame Comic Design Competition".

The contest drew a total of 21 comic designs from NTS officers, which were assessed by an adjudicating panel comprising the Corporate Services Officer of Independent Police Complaints Council, Ms Esta Yau, Company Commander Police Tactical Unit Z Tam Nga-ching, Ma On Shan Divisional Commander Tong Chi-chung and Complaints Against Police Office Chief Inspector Hung Kit-har. Finally, the panel selected the design from Platoon 1 of Emergency Unit NTS as winner.

RCCP NTS Chairman, Senior Superintendent Steven Heathcote said at a presentation ceremony on March 16 that the winning entries would be produced into posters for display in NTS Districts to encourage officers to flexibly apply law, rationality and sensitivity whilst discharging duties.
