Airport District (APTDIST) was presented with "Good Safety Suggestion Awards" for third consecutive year at the Airport Safety Recognition Scheme Presentation Ceremony 2015/16 hosted by the Airport Authority Hong Kong on April 7.

This year, APTDIST captured a "Good Safety Suggestion Award" with the safety traffic enhancement measures at ramps jointly proposed by Traffic New Territories South and the Traffic Team of APTDIST. At the same time, the Airport Security Unit also won the same award by installing Automated External Defibrillators on patrol vehicles.

In addition, APTDIST's Administration Support Sub-Unit Commander Chan Chi-wa was presented with the "Best Safety Supervisor Award".

APTDIST attaches great importance to staff awareness of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) issues, with emphasis on common OSH risks at the workplace. APTDIST not only provides its staff with a safe working environment, but also enhances their safety awareness.
