For enhancing awareness of cyber security and strengthening co-operation with local critical infrastructures, Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) held a seminar on cyber security drill on March 31. The seminar attracted about 150 people from Banking and Finance, Transportation, Communications, Public Utilities and Government Services.
The seminar covered the services provided by CSTCB for infrastructures, findings of Cyber Security Drill 2015, trends of cyber security and technology crime and arrangements for Cyber Security Drill 2016.
CSTCB has held two cycles of Cyber Security Drill since 2014. The drill helped the participants gain a realistic experience of responding to various types of cyber security incident in a safe and controlled environment.
The participants found the seminar very useful and having raised their awareness of cyber security and enriched their knowledge of the subject. Many participants also expressed a strong interest in joining Cyber Security Drill 2016 for boosting their capabilities of handling cyber security incidents.
