Commissioner Lo Wai-chung presented letters to 21 officers on April 15, confirming their promotions to Senior Assistant Commissioner (SACP), Assistant Commissioner (ACP), Chief Superintendent (CSP) and Senior Superintendent (SSP).

Heading the promotion list is Mr Li Kin-fai, promoted to SACP. Messrs Cheuk Hau-yip and Cheng Yiu-mo have been promoted to ACP while Messrs Chan Wing-on, Chan Lok-wing and Rupert Dover have been promoted to CSP. Messrs Chow Chun-fung, Chow Kwong-chung, Ho Yun-sing, Kwok Ka-chuen, Lau Mei-yam, Lee Chi-wai, Lee Chung-wah, Liu Shing-bun, Steven Tait, Tong Chi-chung, Tse Ming-yeung, Wong Chi-kwong, Yuen Chi-kin, Ms Cheung Hoi-yan and Ms Fung Siu-lan have been promoted to SSP.

Mr Ma Ping-yiu, promoted to CSP, and Messrs Lau Cheng-fung and Paul Renouf, promoted to SSP, were absent from the presentation and will receive their promotion letters on the next occasion.

Earlier on March 11, Police Civil Secretary Leung Ho-yin presented letters to nine officers, confirming their promotions to Executive Officer I.

The officers are Ms Yau Mei-chun, Miss Lam Sze-ki, Miss Choy Fei-yuk,   Ms Ng Oi-ling, Ms Ng Hoi-ting, Miss Kwok Hiu-fai, Mr Cheung Ki-lun, Miss Li Lai-man and Miss Man Shuk-yan.
