On April 14, the Chairman of Wong Tai Sin District Council,   Mr Li Tak-hong, Vice-chairman, Mr Lai Wing-ho, accompanied by a party of Wong Tai Sin District Councillors,   Ms Lui Kai-lin, Mr Ho Hon-man, Mr Yuen Kwok-keung, Mr Woo Chi-kin, Mr Mok Kin-wing and Mr Chan Wai-kwan, as well as local community leaders, called at Wong Tai Sin District (WTSDIST) and presented tapestry banners to District Commander James Betts and his officers in appreciation of their efforts to maintain law and order.

Between last December and the first quarter of this year, WTSDIST officers busted several cases, resulting in the arrested persons being sent to jail by the court. The cases included Soliciting for an Immoral Purpose, Trafficking in Dangerous Drugs and Indecent Assault.

In return, Mr Betts thanked the guests for their ongoing support and co-operation and reiterated the importance of co-operation between the police and the community. He reassured that WTSDIST would continue to work hard to protect life and property.
