To strengthen ties with community leaders, Mong Kok District (MKDIST) hosted a briefing on March 30, with over 70 community leaders attending the event, including the Yau Tsim Mong District Officer, Mrs Aron Laura Liang, the Chairman of Yau Tsim Mong District Council, Mr Ip Ngo-tung, the Chairman of Yau Tsim Mong District Fight Crime Committee, Mr Chan Siu-tong, the Chairmen of Yau Tsim Mong Area Committees, alongside with members of the District Council and its Committees.

Speaking at the briefing, MKDIST Commander Mark Foster thanked the community leaders for their unfaltering support. Then MKDIST divisional heads talked about their challenges and achievements in combating crimes last year. MKDIST Deputy Commander Yau Siu-kei also outlined the Formation Action Plan of MKDIST for 2016.

Meanwhile, Mr Chan presented a tapestry banner to Mr Foster in recognition of officers' commitment in maintaining law and order of the district. They applauded this briefing as a good platform to enhance communication between representatives of the community and MKDIST in fighting crime.
