Applications are invited for the Mainland and Overseas Summer Course Sponsorship Scheme for children of police officers. A total of 69 places are available for the children of officers at the ranks from Senior Superintendent (SSP) to Junior Police Officer (JPO) on a proportional basis.

The respective number of sponsored places and amount of subsidy are one place and $1,000 for SSP and SP, five and $2,000 for Inspectorate Officer, and 63 and $3,000 for JPO.

Application form, which is available on Force Noticeboard or Website of Personnel Services and Staff Relations (PS&SR) Branch, should be submitted to PS&SR Branch by May 20, together with a copy of the child's birth certificate and school reports for the academic year 2014-2015 (including the Second Term).

Should there be more applications than the quota, the successful applicants will be chosen by ballot. The ballot is tentatively scheduled for May 27. The results will be announced on Force Noticeboard and by individual notices on May 31.
