The courses marked the 26th and 27th of their series organised jointly by the Force and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS). The Force's tactics training team, which was led by Superintendent of Weapons Training Division (WTD) Chan Wing-leung with eight WTD officers, gave two five-day mobile tactics training courses for 160 officers from Jiangxi Province and the Tibetan Region (Tibet, Yunan and Qinghai).
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr Chau highlighted that the training programme had integrated western experience and Chinese traditional wisdom. He encouraged the trainees to apply the tactics they learned for self-protection and law enforcement. He also thanked Jiangxi PSD, the Personnel & Training Department of the MPS and the Police Liaison Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong SAR for their support. He then presented certificates to the course members. Graduates were impressed by the professionalism of the training team and expressed gratitude to them.
