Under the arrangements of the Police College, Senior Inspector Tsang Ka-kiu from the Support Wing attended the Singapore Police Force (SPF) Command and Staff Course at Home Team Academy, Singapore from March 28 to April 25.

The four-week course, which provided leadership training mainly for middle-ranking officers of SPF, included a two-week training programme in Singapore and a two-week experiential training in Western Australia. The local programme primarily covered the organisational structure of SPF, operational planning, morale management and media skills. For the training in Western Australia, course members were assigned as commanders to lead the team to accomplish different tasks during outdoor activities.

The course offered practical leadership and management knowledge to enable course members to tackle challenges in an ever-changing policing environment. It also provided an effective platform for interaction of course members and opened up avenues for further co-operation.
