A three-week Standard Crime Prevention Course organised by the Crime Prevention Bureau (CPB) came to a successful conclusion on April 29, with a total of 26 trainees mainly regional crime prevention officers attending the course.
Through lectures and fieldwork assignments, the trainees learned how to apply crime prevention theories and techniques to real life scenarios, and in doing so gained valuable insight into how to give professional crime prevention advice to the public. They also learned the relevant legislation and new security equipment.
On the last day of the course, Acting Chief Superintendent (Crime Support) Lee Wai-man presented certificates to the trainees. He also thanked CPB officers and guest speakers for their support.
