Yuen Long District (YLDIST) has recently launched Project RESOLVE to provide junior inspectors with a road map about prosecution of disciplinary cases.

The steering committee of the project, headed by YLDIST Deputy Commander Kerry Carew, spent a year in collecting related materials and manuals for preparing the road map. Mr Carew said, "We hope the road map would serve as a guide for junior inspectors, who perhaps perform the duty of prosecuting officer for the first time." He also thanked the Conditions of Service and Discipline Branch of the Personnel Wing for their assistance.

The road map, which covers three aspects - Pre-Hearing, Hearing and Post-Hearing, contains reference materials, documentary samples and practical suggestions that a prosecuting officer would need through the various stages of disciplinary proceedings. The road map is accessible to all officers via the YLDIST Formation website.
