The Road Safety Team of Traffic New Territories South (T NTS) launched Operation BREEZESTRIKE on May 2 in partnership with the Road Safety Team of Traffic New Territories North, Shatin District (STDIST), Police Cycling Club (PCC) and the Auxiliary Medical Service. A safe-cycling exhibition was held at Pak Shek Kok Promenade and the junction of Kiu Ha Road and Shui Chong Street in Shatin at which pamphlets and souvenirs were distributed. Booths were also set up to arouse the safety awareness of younger cyclists.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of PCC, Superintendent Chan Chun-fai, led his cycling teammates as well as a cycling patrol team of T NTS to patrol along the cycling paths of STDIST and disseminate safe cycling message to the general public.
