Officers from the Police Community Relations Office of Tai Po District (TPDIST) brought over 30 secondary students from Tai Po and the North District to the High Court on April 30 to participate in the third stage of TPDIST's Drug Fighting Elite Scheme – "Mock Trial". This activity followed the first two stages on "Simulated Arresting Operation" and "Dialogue with Lawyers" held earlier.

The activity simulated a scenario in which a drug case was brought before the High Court for trial. Lawyers from the Rotary Adopt A School Committee were invited to act as a judge, and guided the students on how to act as a prosecutor and a defence counsel. The students said they learned more about the harmful effects of drugs and the importance of the rule of law through the activities. They are determined to say no to drugs and be a law-abiding citizen.
