The Kowloon West Best Security Services Awards Presentation Ceremony 2015, jointly held by Kowloon West (KW) Regional Crime Prevention Office, the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPMC) and the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority (SGSIA), took place at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on May 26. Officiating at the event were KW Regional Commander Yu Tat-chung, the Chairman of the SGSIA, Mr Cham Ka-hung, and the President of the HKAPMC, Mr Lee Chun-lai.

Through the Best Security Services Awards Scheme, KW Region has strived over the years to motivate the security services industry to proactively raise the standard of their security and property management services, thereby helping to prevent crimes. The scheme also commends practitioners for their outstanding performance in helping the Force combat crime.

Both the Gold and Bronze Award winners of the Best Security Guard this year came from the hotel sector. They provided the Force with useful crime information and assisted in cracking down on crimes, underscoring their devotion to work and professionalism.
