This year's Force Annual Shooting Competition took place on May 21, with over 300 regular and auxiliary police shooters pitting against one another in pistol and revolver shooting.

The contestants competed for awards in categories of Uniform Branch (Team/Individual), Crime (Team/Individual), Open Pistol (Team/Individual), Open Revolver (Team/Individual), Auxiliary (Team/Individual), Fung Siu-yuen Cup (Major Formation Relay/Individual) and Tang How-kong Cup.

Following rounds of nail-biting contest, the Police College clinched the Fung Siu-yuen Cup in Major Formation Relay, Sergeant (SGT) Mo Chin-chee won the Cup in Individual Category while Police Constable Tsang Hin-keung claimed the Tang How-kong Cup. Deputy Commissioner (Operations) Wong Chi-hung, former Deputy Commissioner (Management) Fung Siu-yuen, former Director of Management Services Tang How-kong, Commandant of Hong Kong Auxiliary Police Force Yang Joe-tsi attended the competition as guests of honour.
