In a bid to promote mutual support and understanding, Commander of Tsim Sha Tsui Division (TSTDIV) Tam Pik-ling hosted a quarterly meeting with leaders of African Community Hong Kong, Christian Action and Hindu Mandir (Temple) Kowloon on June 8.
In addition to updating the leaders about the crime situation in the district, Ms Tam and other officers briefed them on the engagement initiatives, social support and community activities for the Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community. The leaders expressed their heartfelt thanks to TSTDIV for their engagement efforts.
Earlier this year, TSTDIV also held a cultural sharing session with the delegates of some NEC groups. The sharing increased officers' understanding of their customs, and enhanced collaboration between the NEC groups and the Force.
