With the joint efforts of Railway District (RAILDIST) and the Police Community Relations Office of Shatin District, students from Shatin Government Primary School took part in the Railway Junior Smart Cop Fight Crime Campaign that was co-organised with the MTR Corporation Limited (MTRCL) on July 7 to promote crime prevention.

The students learned from MTRCL staff about the facilities of Che Kung Temple Station and some general MTR by-laws. Officers explained to the students the crime situation within RAILDIST and reminded them to keep watch of their own belongings and stay vigilant of scams.

At the conclusion of the event, the officers and the students distributed fight crime leaflets to passengers at the concourse of Che Kung Temple Station to raise public awareness of crime prevention.
