A total of 360 players from 24 teams participated in the preliminaries and finals of the annual Police Futsal Championship at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on May 28 and June 18 respectively. After a series of exciting matches, Western District (WDIST) beat Police Tactical Unit Headquarters on a penalty shoot-out in the final of the Gold Cup while Central District (CDIST) defeated Kwun Tong District in the final of the Silver Cup.

The Chairperson of the Police Sports Council, Assistant Commissioner Lui Hon-kwok, and the Chairperson of the Police Football Club, Senior Superintendent Yip Wan-lung, officiated at the kick-off ceremony of the finals and later presented awards to the winners. Both of them commended the players' enthusiasm and encouraged them to continue participating in sports events to stay healthy and enhance communication with colleagues.
