Over 1 900 Force members and their families had fun at the Integrated Health Management (IHM) Afternoon organised by the Personnel Services and Staff Relations (PS&SR) Branch at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on August 7. Deputy Commissioner (Management) Chau Kwok-leung and Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Tang Ping-keung also attended the event to share the joy with the participants.
PS&SR Branch hopes that Force members and their families would form a habit of exercising regularly and pay more attention to their physical health and psychological well-being through participation in activities and workshops.
A variety of programmes had been arranged for the IHM Afternoon, including game booths, workshops, health talks, play-in exercises and a photo corner. Amongst them, "archery tag", "balloon making & face painting" and "magic workshop" were most popular with families. The exciting CrossFit Competition, which helped many participants develop their full potential, was also a hit. The Police Sports and Arts Clubs and the Police Dog Unit delivered a range of performances as well. The participants enjoyed a happy and relaxing Sunday.
