The Police Community Relations Office of Lantau District (LTDIST) arranged over 20 Junior Police Call (JPC) members to visit three organisations under the Youth Career Programme to learn about various careers on June 29.

The JPC members started their itinerary with a visit to an airline company, at which they were briefed on the daily work of the cabin crew and toured their training venues. Then they went to Lantau North Divisional Police Station to get to know the entry requirements and application procedures for police constables and inspectors at a recruitment briefing. Their last stop was a hotel, where they learned about the duties of different posts and joined a guided visit to some of the units.

The visit not only broadened the horizons of the JPC members about the three sectors, but also helped pave their career path.
