The Legal Attaché of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (US FBI) in Hong Kong, Mr Joshua Kim, paid a courtesy call on the Director of Crime and Security, Au Chi-kwong, on August 26.

Mr Kim presented an appreciation letter from the FBI Director to Mr Au to thank the Force for their tremendous efforts in arresting and extraditing a double-murder suspect to the US earlier this year.

They also discussed ways to strengthen collaboration on cross-jurisdictional crime investigation between Hong Kong and the US. Meanwhile, Mr Au explored the possibility to enhance local officers' training opportunities in the US, in particular the exchange programme in the FBI Academy.
