The India Association Hong Kong presented the Outstanding Police Officer Award to Police Constable (PC) Wong Wing-sam from District Anti-Triad Squad of Yau Tsim District (YTDIST) and PC See Chun-pong from Patrol Sub-unit of Yau Ma Tei Division at a session commending outstanding public officers, as part of a celebration event for the 69th anniversary of the independence of India on August 16.

Mr Wong and Mr See were highly praised for their professionalism, courage and determination in handling a murder case and subduing a man who waved a sharp object at a street respectively earlier this year.

Among the guests in the event were Consul-General of India to Hong Kong and Macau Mr Puneet Agrawal, Commissioner Lo Wai-chung, Kowloon West Regional Commander Yu Tat-chung and Acting YTDIST Commander Kerry Carew.
