To improve the Chinese proficiency level of Non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) students, Kwun Tong District (KTDIST) has been offering a one-year Advanced Chinese Course for NEC students from August. Through reading Chinese newspapers and watching news report, the course would not only help the students enhance their reading, writing and public speaking skills, but also broaden their knowledge of current affairs. Apart from classroom learning, KTDIST will arrange extracurricular activities for the students to communicate with more local people in Cantonese and gear them up for applying for the Force.
