The Personnel Wing won the awards of "Excellent Employee Wellness", "Excellent Resourcing" and "Excellent Technology Innovation", for its respective projects of "Psychological and Physical Wellness Programme for Police Officers", "Strategic Recruitment Initiatives of the Hong Kong Police Force" and "Personnel Information Communal System II", at the HR Excellence Awards Ceremony 2015/16 held by the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management on September 20. The three projects were organised respectively by the Psychological Services Group, Recruitment Division and Manpower Planning Division of the Personnel Wing. In addition, the Hong Kong Police Force was honourably presented with the "Grand Award of the Year".

Director of Personnel and Training Chiu Wai-yin, Assistant Commissioner (Personnel) Tang Ping-keung and Chief Superintendent of the Human Resources Branch Siu Chak-yee received the awards at the presentation ceremony. The awards showed the presenting organisation's recognition of the Force's outstanding human resources management strategies and practices.
