The School of Foundation Training (SFT) of the Hong Kong Police College delivered a commemorative token for all passing-out trainees from September as a symbol of pride and belonging.

The Police College hoped that the commemorative token could be treasured by the probationary inspectors and recruit police constables as a timeless source of pride, and also served as a reminder for them to reflect on their goal of aspiring to join the Force.

On the obverse side of the token, it bears a historical flame tree planted at the Confidence Course of the Aberdeen campus of the Police College to signify the training life of every trainee. On the reverse side, it is engraved with the Force badge and individual officer's name, which marks the commencement of their police career.

Among the first batch of officers who received the token, one of the probationary inspectors said, "After undergoing tough training at SFT for 36 weeks, the token is not only a collective memory to me and my classmates, but also reminds me my aspiration of being a professional police officer."
