In connection with Eastern District's optimisation of its operational directions and Action Plan for 2017, Eastern District (EDIST) Commander Graham Mitchelmore led the management personnel of the district to attend a luncheon meeting with the Chairpersons and Vice-chairpersons of the Eastern District Council, EDIST Fight Crime Committee and its subcommittees on September 12.

Other Force representatives comprised EDIST Deputy Commander Ip Chi-keung, EDIST Deputy Commander (Designate) Sit Ka-ho, North Point Divisional Commander Wong Wai-shun, Chai Wan Divisional Commander Fan Chor-fun and EDIST Police Community and Relations Officer Lam Kin-tat. By maintaining close communication with the stakeholders, the management of EDIST hoped to gain a better understanding of their issues of concern and then fine-tune EDIST's work plans.
